Welcome Message from the Convenors Welcome to the website for the OT AUSTRALIA 23rd National Conference and Exhibition ‘Creating the Future: To explore, to inspire, to take action’. The vision for Conference 2008 is to provide a wide range of opportunities to facilitate creating your future, the future of the profession in Australia and the future of the Association. Building on the successes of previous national conferences and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists Congress in 2006, the Conference 2008 Committee is working hard to achieve this vision.

Conference 2008 will be the premier professional development and networking event for occupational therapists across Australia in 2008. A stimulating scientific program will enable you to meet your continuing professional development needs. Formal and informal networking will provide the opportunity to catch up with colleagues, follow up on information presented in the scientific sessions and build new links for the future.

The support of exhibitors and major sponsors will also contribute to opportunities for learning and networking particularly around the products and services that are key to the work of occupational therapists and to the lives of our clients.

Occupational Therapists like to have fun! Therefore, a very social program will be offered to ensure this happens.
